Recently, as 809 domestically produced NEVs boarded the Ro-Ro (roll-on/roll-off) vessel “Jisu Wealth” bound for Durban, South Africa, Shanghai Nangang Terminal officially released its stellar export scorecard for January.

In January, automobile exports at Shanghai Nangang Terminal demonstrated a simultaneous leap in both quantity and quality:

Record-Breaking Volume: Total vehicle exports reached 82,000 units, a year-on-year (YoY) increase of 65.2%, setting a new historical high for the period.

NEVs Leading the Charge: Domestically produced NEVs accounted for 61,000 units, with a staggering YoY growth rate of 115.92%. This segment now represents the lion's share of total exports, showcasing formidable market penetration.
