At 7:29 am on May 26th, the Xuyi County Fire Brigade in Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province received a report that a fire had occurred in a workshop of Baoshan Road West Asia Bearing Factory in Xuyi County, and the fire was very intense. After receiving the alarm, the Xuyi County Fire Brigade immediately dispatched rescue forces to the scene to implement disposal.

After the officers and soldiers of the squadron arrived at the scene, the fire had already ignited the roof ceiling, and there were constantly burning roofs and beams falling. The commander of the squadron learned that the fire was caused by an error in the process of transferring alcohol, and could not be extinguished solely by water. The situation was extremely dangerous.

The commander of the squadron immediately ordered the use of two water guns to strike the burning roof, preventing it from continuing to burn and producing falling objects. At the same time, they contacted the factory to bring sand and soil. After confirming that the ceiling fire had been extinguished and there were no falling objects, the squadron soldiers used a water gun to strike and extinguish the burning materials around the alcohol, and then buried and covered the alcohol burning materials with the transferred sand.

After nearly an hour of intense fighting, the fire was successfully extinguished. After checking that there was no possibility of re ignition, the officers and soldiers of the squadron collected all their equipment and returned to the squadron to resume their duty and readiness.
